Following the success of this year’s ski trip, we are taking the “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it attitude” and we’re heading back to Morzine for the 2013 Irish Club of Luxembourg Ski Trip. One of the highlights of this year’s trip was the surprise gourmet dining experience, at Le Clin d’Oeil, Morzine’s #1 restaurant (ref: Trip Advisor) which was welcomed by participants after a hard day on the slopes. You don’t need to be Irish (this year we had 7 different nationalities), you don’t need to be able to ski (this year we had four complete beginners) but we do recommend that you know how to have a good time!
Destination – Morzine, France in the Portes du Soleil. Over 650km of ski slopes across 12 ski resorts in France and Switzerland accessible with just one ski pass. Suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders – excellent for beginners right up to experienced skiers/boarders who fancy taking on the infamous Swiss Wall. Numerous snow parks including the Burton designed “The Stash” which has been described as “a snowboarder’s heaven”. Lots for non skiers/boarders to do including ice skating, snow shoe trekking, paragliding, horse drawn sleigh rides and numerous spa/beauty clinics.
Hotel – 3* Tremplin Hotel in the centre of Morzine, ski in and out, directly beside the main Pleney gondola. Great place to start your après ski with live music or a DJ every evening (don’t worry about getting a good night’s sleep – the après ski at the hotel finishes at 19:30)
We have organised 30% discount on ski hire. We have organised a discount on lessons, mountain guiding (all levels catered for) and for the lift pass (the amount of the discount will depend on the final number of people).
Price includes transport by luxury coach, 4 nights bed and breakfast and 3 gourmet evening meals including wine.
Early Bird Price (up to 2nd November 2012) – Member €479, non member €499 (price per person sharing).
Standard Price (from 3rd November 2012 onwards) – Member €529, non member €549 (price per person sharing).
A deposit of €250 is required to secure booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable but is transferable (if you find another person) until 14th December 2012.
