The Irish Club of Luxembourg was founded in 1985 to provide a focus for Irish people and friends of Ireland to meet up and have fun.
The Club of Luxembourg has been in existence for almost 40 years (founded in 1985) and has been a focal point for Irish activities in the Grand Duchy, involving both Irish people and friends of Ireland. The club organises a number of activities annually, including but not limited to:
- St Patrick’s Day event – this year a formal charity gala dinner event in Luxembourg city (see Events page)
- Relais pour la Vie, a 24-hour charity event at the Coque in Kirchberg, in aid of cancer research
- Autumn Sponsored walk, in the nice surrounds of Luxembourg
- Outings to the British & Irish Film Season (BIFS)
- Fundraising Table Quiz – this was last held at Eirelux and raised circa €1,000
- Christmas get-together with activities for children
